In Mykolaiv, ice formed on the windows of apartments in the Riviera residential complex due to the lack of heating.
A resident of the building told NikVesti about this.
As is known, back in early December, residents asked not to be included in the schedule of planned power outages, as they only use electric appliances for heating.
«We have no gas at all, only electric stoves in our apartments. When there is no electricity, we cannot cook food, heat water, and, of course, the roof boiler room is turned off. If the outage lasts, for example, three and a half hours, it is still more or less normal. But when the power is cut off for seven hours and then turned back on for three and a half hours, at minus 12 degrees, and at night at minus 15 degrees, the rooms cool down very quickly. In addition, our buildings have large windows, and because of the draughts, the flats freeze even faster, said Olha, a resident of the residential complex,» in a comment to NikVesti.
According to Olha, the power company said that it was impossible to reduce the duration of power cuts for their residential complex.
«When we asked the power company to reduce the hours of power cuts, they replied that this was not possible — the schedules are the same for everyone. And our authorities cannot or do not want to install a separate line to the boiler room in order to classify it as critical infrastructure,» Olha added.
