On Monday, April 8, the Russian army attacked the Zviahel community in the Zhytomyr region, hitting an infrastructure facility.
This was reported in the Zviahel city council.
There are no victims among the civilian population. There is now an immediate threat of air pollution, so local residents have been advised to stay indoors with closed windows.
In particular, the commission on technological and environmental safety and emergency situations decided to transfer schools and colleges to distance learning.
Regular groups for parents who have no one to leave their children with will work in kindergartens.
We will remind that on the night of April 8, the forces and means of air defense eliminated two UAVs of the Shahed 131/136 type over the territory of the Mykolaiv region. As a result of the attack, 14 settlements in the Voznesensk district and one partially lost power. Work is underway to restore electricity supply. There are no casualties.
In total, on the night of April 8, the air defense forces shot down one missile, as well as 17 out of 24 attack UAVs, which the Russians tried to attack Ukraine with.
