A woman suspected of destroying the graves of fallen soldiers Dmytro Kotsiubailo «Da Vinci», Andrii Pilshchikov «Dzhus» and Pavlo Petrychenko was placed in a psychiatric hospital for 60 days.

«At the request of the investigator, approved by the prosecutor, the Pecherskyi District Court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of placing him in a psychiatric care facility under conditions that exclude dangerous behavior for a period of 60 days,» the prosecutor's office reported.

What happened?

On June 20, in Kyiv, the graves of military personnel Dmytro «Da Vinci» Kotsiubailo, Andrii «Dzhus» Pilshchykov and Pavlo Petrychenko were damaged.

Portraits and flags were damaged, and plaques with the names of the dead were removed. In addition, they broke the lamps on the triptych memorial «Ilovaisk. DAP Debaltseve», which is installed on the Askold grave next to military burials.

Later, the law enforcement officers established that the graves were damaged by an unknown woman in the morning of June 20. She tore down commemorative plaques, broke lamps and defaced the national flag of Ukraine.
