The Ukrainian consulate in London has suspended the acceptance of new applications for consular services from conscripted men.
This was reported in the consulate in London.
At the same time, it is indicated that all applications submitted by April 23 will be considered and processed in full, including applications for the issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad and its receipt upon arrival at the institution.
«We ask conscious men aged 18-60 who have an appointment between April 24 and May 17 for the registration of a passport/mandate/account, etc., to cancel your visit to the institution and allow others to make an appointment,» the consulate added.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian consulates abroad will temporarily not accept documents from citizens of Ukraine of military age.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, announced on the X social network that he instructed the diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad «to take measures to restore fair treatment to men of mobilization age.»
The Minister noted that soon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide detailed clarifications regarding the procedure for obtaining consular services within the framework of the legislation for men of mobilization age in foreign diplomatic institutions with the approach to the entry into force of the law «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization and of military registration» and after its entry into force.
As Dmytro Kuleba emphasized, in conditions of full-scale Russian aggression, the main priority is the protection of the Motherland from destruction.
The Ukrainian consulate in Poland has also temporarily suspended consular activities since April 23.
