A solar plant is being built in Voznesensk to ensure the energy independence of СP «Water Supply»

Voznesensk City Council, within the framework of cooperation with the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ, implements the construction of a solar battery station.

About this at the briefing, the acting head of the Voznesensk District Military Administration, Antonin Sharat, told about the functions and powers, NikVesti writes.

According to her, the new solar station will strengthen the energy independence of the local utility company «Water supply of Voznesensk».

— All our communities work with donors not only in terms of restoration, but also in terms of improvement. For example, now Voznesensk City Council and Domanivka Settlement Council together with the GIZ program are implementing projects. According to this program, the Voznesensk City Council is implementing the construction of a solar battery station for its municipal water supply enterprise, — Antonina Sharata said.

It should be noted that GIZ is the German Society for International Cooperation, which supports Ukraine in several directions. In particular, this is the organization of reliable provision of people with electricity, medicine and temporary housing, as well as equipping emergency services and fire departments. At the same time, GIZ participates in the reconstruction of the country and provides consulting support for the implementation of reforms that should ensure the rapprochement of Ukraine with the European Union (EU).

We will remind you that with the support of the German Cooperation Society, the project «Ambassadors of the city of Mykolaiv» was launched in Mykolaiv for small and medium-sized enterprises representing the maritime industry.

It is worth noting that in June People's Deputy Artem Chornomorov announced the opening of a solar power plant at a hospital in Voznesensk. The solar power plant is designed to help the institution save money.
