eVidnovlennia: 44% of Mykolaiv residents' applications for compensation for damaged property were rejected

As of the end of October, the number of applications for receiving compensation for damaged property within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program is 1,791. Of the 917 processed, 44% were rejected.

Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of the Mykolaiv Regional Administrative Court, told about this during the briefing.

The official explained that some residents were refused due to damage to common areas. Now people, in particular the residents of the damaged house at 36 Admiralska Street, can re-apply for the program.

— To date, 1,791 applications received by the commission have been accepted on the merits of 917 decisions, that is 51.2%. Refusals — 405, approvals — 512. The percentage of refusals is 44%, satisfied applications — 56%, — said Ihor Nabatov.

The total amount of compensation received as of the end of October is 18 million 829 thousand, of which 8 million 244 thousand hryvnias were paid to the cards of Mykolaiv residents.

It will be recalled that for September 2023, almost ₴1 million of compensation was awarded to the residents of Mykolaiv under the «eVidnovlennia» program.

As you know, Mykolayiv Oblast is among the top five oblasts, where the largest number of applications under the «eVidnovlennia» program were submitted — 1,555. However, the oblast has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive assistance in the shortest possible time for the restoration of housing before the autumn and winter cold."

Currently , there are already 30 commissions working in the Mykolayiv region to restore housing damaged during the full-scale invasion under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
