Vesniane community received electric bicycles from benefactors

Today, August 27, the first 7 electric bicycles for paramedics were handed over to the Vesniane community from benefactors.
Mykolaiv Regional Council reports this.
In the future, the benefactors will give another 15 such bicycles to five other communities of the region. Thanks to these bicycles, the travel time to patients will be reduced by three times. Transport was handed over to RATEG within the framework of a memorandum with the Mykolaiv Regional Council.
The transport was handed over to the representatives of FAPs and social protection by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunshchyk, the director of the charity fund «Women's Opportunities in Ukraine» Vlada Nedak, the director of RATEG Serhii Vlasenko and the deputy head of the Vesniane community.
«The Velo-Forsazh project is not only a support for doctors, but also a step towards strengthening our communities. The regional council closely cooperates with the communities, during the visits we learn about their needs in various directions and thanks to such initiatives we show that caring for people is our main value, even in the most difficult times,» noted Anton Tabunshchyk.
The head of the regional council also emphasized the possibility of cooperation of local health centers and health centers with PKVO Pharmatsiia, so that local residents could receive medicines within the framework of the state program Affordable Medicines.
