Mykolaiv region will receive ₴61 million for housing for veterans

Mykolaiv region will receive an additional 61 million hryvnias to provide housing for 29 families of veterans.

This was reported in the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

It is noted that the Mykolaiv region will receive an additional 61.2 million hryvnias from the state budget. In general, by the end of the year, more than 4.1 billion hryvnias will be allocated from the state budget for the purchase of housing for 1,836 families of veterans from among IDPs and persons with disabilities as a result of the war 1, 2 groups and families of the fallen.

The deputy head of the Office of the President, Viktor Mykyta, announced in his Telegram channel that a regional-level communal institution should be created in all regions, which will take care of veterans' support issues.

«Formation of a regional program for providing housing to veterans, supporting defenders by repaying part of the interest on a loan for the purchase of housing within the framework of the «eOselia» state program. The loan portfolio is formed by state banks at 7% per annum. 4% of them will be compensated by the state, another 3% will be reimbursed by RMA from the regional budget under the regional program,» he said.

We will remind that in July 2024, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine allocated subventions for the payment of monetary compensation and for the purchase of housing for almost 2,500 veterans in the amount of 5.7 billion hryvnias.

It was also reported that the first inclusive town for veterans was built in Kyiv region. Today, the keys to their new homes were handed over to 45 soldiers who were seriously injured during the hostilities.
