Two state roads pass through the Domanivka territorial community: the R-75 «Tymkove Checkpoint–Balta–Pervomaisk–Domanivka–Oleksandrivka» and the T-15-06 «Mykolaiv–Domanivka–Berizky». Both require major repairs, but no funds have been allocated for this purpose this year.

This was reported by the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in the Mykolaiv region in response to a request from NikVesti.

The road service noted that for the full restoration of the R-75 and T-15-06 roads within the Domanivka territorial community, major repairs are required. However, due to the war, funds for major repairs to state-class roads in the Mykolaiv region are limited.

It is also reported that funding for road repairs is allocated taking into account the intensity of traffic, logistics and evacuation routes, as well as areas near the front line.

«Funds from the State Road Fund are being directed towards strengthening the army and bolstering Ukraine’s defence, whilst the road sector receives funding across three areas: urgent measures related to road maintenance; roads necessary for military needs; and the construction and repair of roads as part of projects funded by international financial organisations and the governments of partner countries,» the Restoration Service reported.

There is no funding this year for major repairs to state roads in the Domanivka community.

«This year, no capital expenditure is planned for the construction, reconstruction or major repair of public roads of national importance within the Mykolaiv region,» the response states.

Regarding operational maintenance, it was noted that last year, on sections of the R-75 route, contractors carried out road surface profiling using a motor grader and patch repairs using hot asphalt concrete mixes.

The Restoration Service notes that it submits proposals annually to the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine regarding the inclusion in the list of construction, reconstruction, major and routine medium-scale repair projects for sections and engineering structures of the R-75 and T-15-06 routes.

As a reminder, residents complained that in the Domanivka territorial community they have to travel along dirt tracks, as the main roads are full of potholes. Therefore, people appealed to the authorities and road services to fill in the potholes until repairs can be carried out.
