It is noted that on Sunday, February 4, the World Aquatics Championship was held in Doha, Qatar.
Danylo Konovalov from Mykolaiv together with Oleh Kolodii, a pupil of the Mykolaiv diving school, won a license to participate in the Olympics.
The natives of Mykolaiv took sixth place in the synchronized jumping from the 3-meter springboard in the final. Sportsmen scored 363.12 points at the championship.
Recently, Mykolaiv champion Danylo Konovalov received a monetary reward for sports victories. It is noted that the reward is one hundred thousand hryvnias.
Earlier it was reported that during 2023, athletes from the Mykolaiv Oblast won 367 prizes at competitions of various levels.
