Arson

Arson is the deliberate destruction or damage of property by fire. Suspects in arson of buildings usually face up to 10 years in prison. Many arson attacks are carried out on orders from Russian handlers: in ten months of 2024 law enforcement detained 179 such arsonists. In Mykolaiv unknown people burned 48 rubbish containers in 2023 alone.
