Robert Brovdi

Robert Brovdi, known by the call sign Madyar, is the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He regularly reports on strikes by his units, known as «Madyar’s birds», on oil refineries and chemical plants in Russia and on energy facilities in occupied Crimea and Kherson Oblast. In July 2026 his forces hit dozens of Russian «shadow fleet» vessels in the Black and Azov seas over several nights, and in the first week of September they struck 34 energy nodes in the occupied territories.

In December 2025 Russia put Brovdi on an international wanted list, and in September 2026, according to the WSJ, it offered a $20 million reward for information on his whereabouts.

MykVisti covers his statements on Russian losses, strikes on occupied Kherson Oblast and recruitment to the Unmanned Systems Forces.
