Mykolaiv municipal company in charge of street lighting

HDMB (Hospozrakhunkova Dilnytsia Mekhanizatsii Budivnytstva) is a municipal company in Mykolaiv that buys equipment for street lighting. In 2024 it announced a tender for street lighting control equipment worth 5.8 million hryvnias, and this purchase later turned into a corruption case.

In August 2025 HDMB director Oleksandr Ursolov was served with a notice of suspicion. Another suspect, utility worker Serhii Bezdolnyi, was held in custody, and the handover of a bribe in a restaurant was caught on camera. In February 2026 a court approved a plea agreement, and 7.3 million hryvnias were returned to the budget.
