Influenza

Influenza is an acute viral infection that thousands of people in Mykolaiv Oblast catch every season, most of them children. The epidemic season of flu and acute respiratory infections in Ukraine began on 28 September 2026 and will last until 23 May 2027. In September 2026 the region confirmed its first case of influenza A this autumn, in a man from the Pervomaisk district.

MykVisti publishes weekly figures on cases and hospital admissions in the region and reports on districts where the epidemic threshold is exceeded and on flu vaccination.
