₴10.5 million is planned to be spent on cleaning roads in two districts of Mykolaiv in 2024

The administrations of the Tsentralnyi and Zavodskyi districts of Mykolaiv plan to spend 10.5 million hryvnias on road cleaning in 2024.

The relevant tenders are published in the electronic procurement system ProZorro.

On December 12, the administration of the Zavodskyi district announced a tender for the services of mechanized vacuum and wet cleaning of roads with an expected cost of almost 4 million hryvnias.

According to the terms of the tender, during 2024, the contractor will have to carry out mechanized vacuum cleaning of the asphalt concrete road surface along the curbs with a capture width of at least 2 meters, and take the collected garbage to the city landfill. The collection of dirt and garbage should be carried out in a hopper-accumulator of a closed type to prevent scattering during transportation.

The total amount of mechanized vacuum cleaning of roads during the next year is 3197 kilometers.

Currently, the process of submitting tender offers from future participants of the auction, which is scheduled for December 21, 2023, is ongoing.

In particular, the Administration of the Tsentralnyi District also announced a tender for mechanized cleaning with an expected cost of 6.5 million hryvnias.

During the next year, the contractor will have to carry out mechanized vacuum cleaning of roadways from dirt, garbage, and sand with garbage removal. The total volume is 5,605 kilometers.

In addition, the contractor will also have to carry out mechanized wet cleaning of the carriageway of roads with a total length of 500 kilometers.

Currently, the process of submitting tender offers is ongoing, the auction of which is scheduled for December 20, 2023.

«In addition to the main machines, bulldozers, motor graders, and loaders are also used to clear the territory if necessary (for example, if the sweeper cannot clean the accumulated layer of dirt). «Mechanized vacuum cleaning of the road surface on highways and streets with heavy traffic is carried out at night,» the tender documentation states.

We will remind that 1.6 million hryvnias are planned to be spent on the liquidation of unauthorized landfills on the territory of the Zavodskyi District of Mykolaiv.

In addition to the fact that in June in Mykolaiv they began to clean up the garbage that remained after the destruction of residential buildings as a result of Russian airstrikes. Currently, there are about 40 objects in the city where municipal workers have to remove waste.
