For the first time, the state budget of Ukraine received funds that were confiscated from persons subject to sanctions.
This was announced by the head of the State Property Fund Vitalii Koval.
It is noted that the budget received 32 million hryvnias, which previously belonged to Russian collaborators Dmytro Vorona and Volodymyr Saldo. And the Ukrainian coffers were replenished with confiscated funds from the enterprise of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
«The Fund, having received the court's decision, is taking measures to manage and dispose of seized assets as effectively as possible. In particular, he initiates the lifting of previously imposed arrests,» said Vitalii Koval.
We will remind that the higher anti-corruption court satisfied the second lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice about the confiscation of assets of the Kherson collaborator, the «gauliteer» of the region, Volodymyr Saldo.
Previously, the court confiscated from Volodymyr Saldo PJSC «Kashtan» registered in the Korostyshiv district, which is engaged in the extraction of decorative and building stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and clay shale, 30% of the transport company «Delta Service».
