The commander of the United Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhii Naiev, said that on February 11 he learned about the presidential decree on his dismissal from the mass media.

He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

«From the mass media, I learned about my dismissal from the post of commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which I have held since 2020,» Serhii Naiev reported.

In his address, he also thanked the military for their protection and said that he believed in the victory of Ukraine.

On February 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Serhii Naiev from the post of commander of the joint forces. He appointed Yurii Sodol in his place.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also appointed Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk as the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previously, this position was held by Oleksandr Syrskyi, who was appointed commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces on February 8.
