We will remind that as of July 3, 2024, 680 enterprises have moved from the territory of the Mykolaiv region to safer regions since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Another 800 were destroyed, damaged or completely ceased operations.

Which of the Mykolaiv enterprises resumed their activities during the war?

After the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region from the Russian occupiers, entrepreneurs in the Mykolayiv region began to partially resume their business activities.

In particular, as of May 2023, the work of four large enterprises was resumed. We are talking about the Agrofusion and PepsiCo companies, the Yantar brewery and the Nibulon company.

In April, it became known about the resumption of work at the tomato processing plant of the Agrofusion company in the deoccupied Snihurivka. PepsiCo resumed its operations in early May.

Restoration of the war-damaged capacities of the companies takes place at their own expense, as Vitaly Kim said earlier.

The head of Mykolaiv RMA also said that the most difficult process of resumption of work in the region is for agricultural enterprises. This is due to the large number of mined territories.

Among those who actually stopped their work at the beginning of the full-scale invasion was the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant.

The company's corporate rights have been under arrest since June 2022. In May 2023, the head of the Mykolaiv regional administration, Vitaly Kim, said that only 300 employees remained at the plant out of the 6,000 that were there before the war. They are mainly engaged in the protection and maintenance of sludge fields.
