France invests ₴307 million in the creation of an innovative agricultural complex with biogas plants and a pig farm in the Mykolaiv region

On the basis of the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, they plan to build an educational, scientific and industrial complex, which will include a pig complex, biogas plants and solar power plants.

It should be noted that the educational-scientific-industrial complex will be built in the village of Blahodarivka of the Nechaiane rural community of the Mykolaiv district with the financial support of France. The total project budget is 306.8 million hryvnias.

Therefore, on the basis of the educational-scientific-production complex of the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, the following will be built:

  • pig complex;
  • biogas cogeneration plant for the production of biogas and electricity;
  • production line of pellets from waste;
  • installation of solar power plants;
  • greenhouse complex;
  • mini-plant for meat processing.

«The creation of such an educational-scientific-production complex will allow to build a higher educational institution of a new type on the basis of the formation of a vertically integrated education system in the context of the concept of sustainable development, which includes four areas of activity: educational, scientific, entrepreneurial and innovative,» the message reads.

What is known about DREAM?

On March 20, the team of the DREAM project office presented digital tools to the communities of the Mykolaiv region, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine reported. 16 communities of Mykolaiv Oblast already have their own profiles in DREAM. In total, 815 management bodies (communities, regional administrations, central executive bodies) are already working with the DREAM ecosystem.

The DREAM project office explained that the ecosystem is a tool that allows communities to attract investments to restore destroyed infrastructure, and investors to transparently monitor the passage of their funds and their effective use.

As of September 27, 2024, 443 projects for the reconstruction of Mykolaiv and the region worth 23.7 billion hryvnias were added to the DREAM system.
