Mykolaiv has one of the lowest tax arrears in Ukraine: 442 proceedings were registered

In Mykolaiv, during 2024, 442 enforcement proceedings regarding the collection of tax debts were registered. This is one of the lowest indicators among the regions of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by data from the Opendatabot resource.

For comparison, in the Odesa region, the number of such proceedings reached 1,081, which is twice as much as in Mykolaiv. The leader in terms of the smallest number of proceedings is the Chernivtsi region with 106 cases, the second place is occupied by the Donetsk region with 225, and the third place with the Volyn region with 292.

The highest level of tax arrears was recorded in the capital. 5,700 proceedings were opened in Kyiv, which is 23% of the total number in the country. In second place is Dnipropetrovsk region with 4.5 thousand proceedings (18%), and in third place is Zaporizhia region, where 1.3 thousand such cases were registered.

In general, the number of tax proceedings in Ukraine has increased significantly compared to the pre-war period. In 2024, 25,225 proceedings were registered, compared to 20,691 in 2021. In 2022, this figure decreased to 14,833, and in 2023, it increased to 22,233.

let's remind, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, said that the city will not be able to develop without tax benefits from the state, because because of the high risks for business, Mykolaiv does not attract investors and is inferior to other regions of Ukraine.
