This was announced by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko at the final meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine in Lviv.

«Despite the war, the ministry continues to work on modernizing the medical infrastructure so that hospitals can create all the conditions for providing high-quality, accessible, and free medical care. This can be achieved by consolidating efforts at the central and local levels, as well as actively involving international donors for cooperation so that the process moves as efficiently as possible,» the minister said.

The region plans to modernize the Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Children's Hospital and the War Veterans Hospital.

It is noted that in total, more than 2.6 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the implementation of 15 investment projects in 12 regions of Ukraine.

In addition to the Mykolaiv region, the investment project is also being implemented in the Kherson region, where the modernization of the Kherson Regional Children's Hospital is planned.
