Since the beginning of March, the price of wheat flour in Ukraine has been gradually decreasing.
The information agency «APK-Inform» writes about this.
It is noted that an oversupply of flour and moderate demand from both domestic and export-oriented companies continue to put pressure on prices. It is almost impossible to sell flour on the export market due to strikes at the Polish borders, which also affects the gradual decrease in prices.
Thus, since the beginning of the month, prices for high-grade flour have decreased by 100-300 hryvnias per ton and as of March 15, they are mostly fixed within the range of 9,700-11,100 hryvnias per ton.
Earlier, Taras Kachka said that Ukraine is ready to accept restrictions on its trade with the EU in order to defuse the political dispute with Poland, but also calls on the bloc to ban the import of Russian grain.
The Committee on International Trade of the European Parliament also approved the continuation of trade liberalization with Ukraine and Moldova.
