On Saturday, June 29, two residents of a high-rise building damaged by shelling in Dnipro, who were considered missing, got in touch.

This was announced by the head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhii Lysak.

According to him, mother and son got in touch. The head of the RMA noted that everything is fine with them — when the tragedy happened, they were not at home. At the same time, Lysak added that the fate of several more people remains unknown.

«The search and rescue operation continues. «Emergency personnel are dismantling the floor coverings of the destroyed floors,» the message reads.

We will remind that on Friday, June 28, the Russians hit a high-rise building in Dnipro, destroying several floors.

Later, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reported one dead and five wounded in Dnipro. According to him, there may be more victims. People remain locked in the apartments of the building.

At night, the number of victims of the missile attack on the Dnipro increased to 12 people.

On the morning of June 29, the city authorities reported that rescuers are trying to find five people who went missing.
