A resident of the Kryve Ozero community in the Mykolaiv region is suspected of supporting the actions of the Russian occupiers.
This is reported by the State Police of the Mykolaiv Oblast.
The suspect turned out to be a 52-year-old resident of the Kryve Ozero community. According to the police, the man published appeals on social networks to justify and recognize the actions of the Russian Federation as correct, and also advocated changing the borders of the state border.
The police searched the man's place of residence, during which they found and seized a mobile phone containing evidence of his criminal activities. Everything removed was sent for research.
The investigators informed him of the suspicion of committing crimes provided for in part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine» and parts 2 and 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Distribution of materials containing justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.»
The man faces up to eight years in prison. He has already been placed under house arrest for two months.
