On October 4, a personal exhibition of the artist Oleksandr Komarnytskyi «Parallel worlds in graphics» was opened in Mykolaiv.
An exposition of 37 paintings was presented at the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore, reports the correspondent of NikVesti.
Oleksandr Komarnytskyi is an artist from Mykolaiv who has been fond of art, local history and archeology since childhood.
During the exhibition, he said that the inspiration for creating graphic works appeared during participation in archaeological expeditions and constant communication with scientists.
«During the expeditions, I took sketches with me and drew various pictures inspired by local residents, interesting places or unexpected situations,» said the artist.
The author notes that the cycles of life can be seen in his works: birth and death, ups and downs, destruction and restoration. He tries to convey to the audience the idea that every moment is an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.
The exhibition will continue in the museum until the end of November 2024.
We will remind, on September 27, an autograph session was held in Mykolaiv with Mykolaiv graphic artist Anatolii Krutikov, where he presented a series of paintings in an urban style.
