New pickup trucks for the military will be purchased in Mykolaiv for ₴7 million

In Mykolaiv, they plan to spend 7 million 180 thousand on the purchase of 6 pick-up vehicles for defense purposes.

This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, NikVesti reports.

According to the tender documentation, the cars will be used for the needs of the Mykolaiv military of the 36th separate marine brigade.

Yes, the tender does not mention a specific brand of car, but the car must be diesel, five-seater, with a manual gearbox and a carrying capacity of at least 900 kilograms.

Also, according to the technical documentation, the pickup must be new, manufactured no earlier than 2022 and have a warranty of at least 12 months from the date of delivery of the product.

The military should receive the cars by December 25, 2023. Currently, the process of submitting tender offers is ongoing. The auction is scheduled for November 28.

Later, the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv Vitalii Lukov held a meeting with the participants of the «Money for the Armed Forces» campaign, who are demanding that the city authorities allocate more funds to the needs of the army.
