Ukrainian track and field athlete Mahuchikh, after winning the 2024 Olympics, donated ₴500,000 for the treatment of wounded soldiers of Azov

Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who won gold at the 2024 Olympics, donated 500,000 hryvnias to help the wounded soldiers of Azov.
This was reported by the head of the Angels of Azov patronage service, Olena Tolkachova.
«I was pleasantly surprised when, just in the evening, I received a message about a donation of 500,000 from Ukrainian Olympic athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh. I want to thank you on behalf of the «Angels of Azov» team, seriously wounded fighters and their families. We sent these funds to pay for the treatment of military personnel with severe neurotraumas and craniocerebral injuries who are in the rehabilitation center,» she said.
We will remind that Yaroslava Mahuchikh took first place in the high jump final at the 2024 Olympic Games. She brought Ukraine the fifth medal at this year's Games.
Yaroslava Mahuchikh also set a new world record in women's high jump, taking a height of 2.10 meters.
