Norway and the UN will help the Dnipro with equipment to get through the winter

Dnipro will receive equipment from the UN mission and the Norwegian government to help the city survive the winter.

This was discussed during the meeting of the mayor of Dnipro with representatives of the international humanitarian mission, the press service of the mayor's office reports.

Helen Sand Andresen, Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine, as well as representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) came to the city for a visit.

During the conversation, special emphasis was placed on the supply of equipment that will help the city survive the winter season.

«We will continue to work. I would like to emphasize once again that we need not only material help, but also moral support. She is and she will be. The whole civilized world is with us in this terrible war,» said Borys Filatov.

We will remind that Ukraine received the 4th and 5th packages of financial assistance from Denmark in the amount of 64 million euros, 44 of which will be received by the Mykolaiv region.

In general, aid packages provide for the passage of the autumn-winter period, water supply of the region, restoration of critically important social infrastructure and public institutions, attraction of new investments, support for residents of communities and the city, etc.
