The United Kingdom is allocating £150 million ($186 million) for another military aid package to Ukraine. It will include tanks, artillery, «air-to-air missiles» and other types of weapons.

This was announced by UK Defence Secretary John Healey at a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group in Brussels.

«Today I am announcing £150 million for firepower, artillery, tanks, missiles «air-to-air» and other types of weapons, as well as new contracts to repair critical equipment in Ukraine. Ukraine's security determines global security», he said.

According to the minister, the UK will spend £4.5 billion ($5.6 billion) on military aid this year to support Ukraine. In particular, by the end of March, the country will supply a large batch of drones both directly and in cooperation with partners.

«This is more than ever before. By the end of March, I will be working directly with partners, including Latvia, and we will deliver about 10,000 drones over the course of the year», the British Defence Secretary said.

As a reminder, Ukraine will receive financial assistance from the UK to enhance the resilience and development of both countries and promote the 100-year partnership.
