The Lithuanian government allocates about 15 million euros for a special rehabilitation program for Ukrainian servicemen.
This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
It is noted that the funds will be directed directly to the reconstruction of hospitals and the training of specialists.
As the Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė said, Lithuania is starting a special rehabilitation program for wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
«We will promote the development of the relevant infrastructure and services of the three Baltic countries in Lviv, Dnipro and Zhytomyr,» she said.
We will remind you that in Ukraine there is a state prosthetics program, within the framework of which combatants and not only can receive prostheses.
Participants in hostilities, persons with disabilities as a result of war, some categories of military personnel will be able to receive these services free of charge in hospitals, regardless of their form of ownership. The state compensates medical institutions for the costs of their treatment through the National Health Service of Ukraine.
To get in line for prosthetics, you need to fill out a form. Even before the official opening of the center, the clinic installed bionic prostheses from a British company to two Ukrainian soldiers.
