Firefighters rescued a fish from a burning house in Mykolaiv

From the house that caught fire today in Mykolaiv, rescuers of the State Emergency Service took out an aquarium with a small catfish.

Tetiana, a resident of the house, told NikVesti that she managed to save her dog and cat, two more cats that remained in the house were found by rescuers. They are currently in a serious condition in the hospital.

«I am so grateful to our guys from the State Emergency Service, they even caught a fish, even a catfish survived. The most important thing is that everyone is alive,» said Tetiana.

The woman told the rescuers of the Mykolaiv Oblast State Emergency Service that she saw smoke and fire through the window, and in a few seconds the entire ceiling was engulfed in smoke.

«Everything started to collapse, I called 101 and ran out into the street. The shorting happened on the neighboring territory, the valve closed and everything went up along the wall and the roof caught fire,» said Tetiana.

We will remind that this morning, January 15, there was a fire in a three-story building on Sadova Street in Mykolaiv. According to rescuers, the fire covered an area of 150 square meters.
