A resident of the Mykolaiv district will spend 6 years and 6 months behind bars for selling drugs.
The Mykolayiv District Prosecutor's Office has supported the prosecution.
The court found a 44-year-old resident of the village of Radsad guilty of illegal sale of psychotropic substances and possession of psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale, committed repeatedly (Parts 1, 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The prosecutor proved in court that during May-August 2023, the man sold 54 «Metafin» pills to a local resident five times, which contain methadone, which is a narcotic drug. For this he received 3300 hryvnias.
According to the result of the trial, the Mykolaiv District Court of the Mykolaiv Region supported the position of the prosecutor and sentenced the man to 6 years and 6 months of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force, as the appeal period continues.
