The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) handed over 42 transformers to Mykolaiv and two to Sumy, thanks to which it was possible to restore electricity supply to more than 27 thousand people.
This was reported by the United States Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink on the social network X.
«We are helping to restore electricity supply after the barbaric attacks of Russia. Thanks to USAID, two transformers in Sumy and 42 voltage transformers in Mykolaiv helped to restore electricity supply to 27,500 people,» wrote Brigitte Brink.
We will remind you that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will hand over 15 generators for the operation of four utility companies in Mykolaiv.
As of October 2023, it was known that Mykolaiv utility companies stocked up with 327 generators in case of a blackout. Mykolaivoblteploenergo has the largest number of such devices.
At the same time, co-owners of apartment buildings in Mykolaiv are partially compensated for the cost of energy generators and portable power plants that were purchased during the last heating season.
Also, NikVesti told how entrepreneurs on Sobornaya saved themselves with generators during 18-hour blackouts.
