The Cabinet of Ministers allocated almost ₴80 million for the modernization of school canteens in Mykolaiv

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the distribution of subventions for the renovation of school canteens in Mykolaiv. Four educational institutions will receive almost 80 million hryvnias for capital repairs and the purchase of equipment.

In general, the 2024 state budget provides 1.5 billion hryvnias for the restoration and modernization of canteens in general secondary education institutions. Among Mykolaiv schools, funds will be received by:

Mykolaiv Lyceum №40: the institution will receive 20 million 976 thousand 134 hryvnias for major repairs of the cafeteria. The lyceum has 1,832 students, and it will receive the status of a support kitchen.

Mykolaiv Lyceum №3: 18 million 514 thousand 376 hryvnias were allocated for this lyceum, where 1210 students study. The Lyceum will also receive the status of a basic kitchen.

Mykolaiv Gymnasium № 52: will receive 19 million 554 thousand 74 hryvnias for major repairs of the cafeteria. The gymnasium, where 1,609 students study, will become a support kitchen.

Mykolaiv Gymnasium №46: 19 million 835 thousand 683 hryvnias have been allocated for the repair of the cafeteria of this institution. The gymnasium has 686 students, and it will receive the status of a basic kitchen.
In total, 159 canteens in the regions will be renovated with the help of state subsidies. Institutions will be able to purchase modern equipment and update canteens and canteens. In turn, the Mykolayiv region will receive a total of 132 million hryvnias for the renovation of canteens.
Earlier it was reported that the Government allocated 38 million hryvnias of «educational» subvention from the state budget for educational institutions of the Mykolaiv region. These funds will be spent on the purchase of equipment, books and furniture.
