Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that the city is constantly engaged in arranging shelters.

He announced this in the telethon Edyni Novyny.

«Of course, the number of shelters has improved significantly. The city of Odesa is constantly working on increasing both the simplest and full-fledged shelters. The process continues all the time, and we don't stop,» Kiper emphasized.

He added that the main goal is to provide 100% of children with the opportunity to learn offline through the provision of safe shelters in schools.

«Children should study at their desks, in interaction with teachers and peers, as it should be right,» added the head of RMA.

We will remind, about 90% of children in Odesa study offline and in a mixed format. According to Oleh Kiper, one of the main challenges remains the arrangement of school shelters, as some educational institutions do not meet modern safety standards.
