Over the past three months, Russian forces have carried out almost 60 strikes on Ukrainian ports, civilian ships and grain warehouses, damaging almost 300 infrastructure facilities.
This was announced by Oleksii Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
According to the civil servant, about 300 objects of the port infrastructure, 177 vehicles and 22 civilian vessels were damaged or destroyed from the strikes. As a result of these attacks, 79 civilians were injured, including workers of ports, logistics companies and crew members.
Kuleba emphasized that every war crime is carefully documented. He is convinced that Russia will bear responsibility for these infrastructure attacks and violations of international law.
«The world must react decisively to these shellings, because not only Ukraine is feeling their consequences. More than 40 countries, including Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands, receive Ukrainian grain,» said Kuleba.
