Over the past few days, Russian forces have attacked civilian vessels in the ports of Odesa three times. Eight civilians died as a result of the strikes.
This was reported by Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
«In recent days, the Russian occupiers have attacked civilian ships in the ports of Odesa three times. As a result of these brutal attacks, 8 civilians died. Russia deliberately chooses civilian objects and defenseless people as its target, once again demonstrating its terrorist nature. These are not just attacks on our infrastructure, they are crimes against humanity. The world should see and understand that there are no international norms for the Russians, and their goal is to kill and destroy,» Oleh Kiper wrote.
We will remind that on the night of October 6, Russian troops attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, a civilian cargo ship was damaged.
On October 7, the Russians again attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. The enemy hit a Palau-flagged civilian vessel. A 60-year-old Ukrainian was killed, five other foreign citizens were injured.
In the evening of October 9, the Russian army attacked the Odesa region with ballistic missiles. The port infrastructure became the target of the enemy again. The enemy hit a civilian container ship under the flag of Panama.
