Tracks between Mykolaiv and Kherson were damaged as a result of Russian shelling

Due to damage to the tracks between Mykolaiv and Kherson, trains to Kherson will stop in Mykolaiv, and passengers will be transported by buses.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on the morning of October 24.

«Due to enemy shelling, the tracks on the section between Mykolaiv and Kherson were damaged. Trains connecting to Kherson will stop in Mykolaiv. Passengers will be transported to Kherson by buses,» the message reads.

It is noted that all 78 passengers traveling to Kherson are promised to be delivered to their destination «with maximum possible comfort.»

«Railway repair crews have already left for restoration work. We plan to restore the railway connection before the return flight,» Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.

We will remind that yesterday, October 23, and tonight, October 24, the Russians fired drones and artillery at two communities in the Mykolaiv region.
