Russians hit a high-rise building in Kharkiv: 35 people were injured, there are dead, among them a child

On the evening of October 30, Russian troops struck a high-rise building in Kharkiv, destroying two floors. An 11-year-old boy and another person died, 35 people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv RMA Oleg Syniehubov and the mayor of the city Ihor Terekhov.
According to the RMA, the Russians struck the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. There is a hit on the fourth floor of a high-rise building. In advance, there are victims, including those under rubble. Later, Oleh Syniehubov reported that there was a fire at the place of arrival. Almost the entire entrance to the house was destroyed.
There are people trapped on the upper floors of the entrance. Among the injured, two are serious — an 11-year-old child and a 22-year-old man.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video from the site of the attack in Kharkiv.
«Unfortunately, there are victims, including children. There may still be people under the rubble. All necessary services are on site. Partners see what is happening every day. And in these conditions, each of their delayed decisions is at least dozens, if not hundreds of such Russian bombs against Ukraine. Their decisions are the lives of our people. That is why we must stop Russia together and do it with all possible force,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
Oleh Syniehubov later reported that 14 people were injured, at least three were under the rubble, previously, among them was a woman and a child.
At 00:17 Ihor Terekhov reported 24 injured. At 00:47 Syniehubov wrote that one child had died. Doctors, despite their efforts, failed to resuscitate the boy. Another 29 people were injured.
The child, who died as a result of a Russian strike on a house in Kharkiv, was pulled from the rubble with a severe head injury, fractures and no signs of life, Viktor Zabashta, director of the regional emergency medical aid center, told Suspilne. Resuscitation measures were carried out for 40 minutes. The child was about 14-15 years old.
The prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv region added that the boy who was pulled out from under the rubble was 12 years old. Another 35 people were injured.
One child died. Rescuers unblocked body fragments from under the rubble. An identification examination will be conducted.
According to him, the demolition of the debris is still ongoing. There may still be people under the ruins. The police also received a report about a 15-year-old boy who was unresponsive. Currently, all necessary search units are engaged.
