On the morning of November 17, Russian troops attacked Odesa. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, and a 17-year-old boy was also injured. Currently, there are interruptions in the supply of heat, water and electricity in the region.
Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa military administration, reported this.
According to him, emergency power outages are currently in use. Hospitals and other critical infrastructure facilities operate using generators.
«All services are working to repair the damage. Specialists are now taking all possible measures to restore heat and water supply within a few hours. Energy workers are continuously working to eliminate the consequences of shelling,» Oleh Kiper writes.
Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov also reported that all electric transport is not working in Odesa.
It is noted that 445 points of invincibility were deployed in the Odesa region on the morning of the 10th, and 357 more will be opened if necessary.
Later, the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations was informed that as a result of the shelling, there were fires in the houses.
«Three private houses caught fire, four more were partially destroyed. According to preliminary information, a teenager was injured,» the message reads.
It will be recalled that in the morning of November 17, the Russian army began to launch massive attacks on the territory of Ukraine with cruise, ballistic and aeroballistic missiles.
Also, on the morning of November 17, two women were killed, four adults and two children were wounded in Mykolaiv due to a Russian drone strike on a residential building.
