Vladimir Putin said that Russia struck the city of Dnipro with a medium-range Oreshnik ballistic missile, which is equipped with a non-nuclear hypersonic variant.

The President of the Russian Federation stated that this strike was allegedly a response to strikes by American and British weapons on the territory of Russia.

«The tests of the Oreshnik missile system under combat conditions are being conducted in response to the aggressive actions of NATO countries against Russia,» Putin said.

We will remind, in the morning of November 21, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with intercontinental ballistic, aeroballistic and cruise missiles. Dnipro came under Russian fire. It is noted that the intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, the X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile from the Tambov region, and the X-101 cruise missiles from the Volgograd region.
