In the Bashtanka district, 50% of schools work remotely due to the proximity to the demarcation line and the lack of shelters.
As Vladyslav Dmytriv, the head of the Bashtan district military administration, reported, instead, 36 schools use a mixed form of education, and 11 work offline.
«Today, the nearest dividing line remains one of the main factors of distance education. In addition, some schools do not even have semi-basement premises that could be equipped as a shelter,» said Vladyslav Dmytriv.
According to him, now in the district:
- 45 schools work remotely,
- 36 institutions use a mixed form of education,
- 11 work offline.
Of the 97 kindergartens in the district:
- 15 work in a mixed form,
- 12 — offline.
Vladyslav Dmytriv also added that about 14,000 internally displaced persons live in the Bashtanka district, among which almost 800 children attend local educational institutions.
