Russian troops launched 12 attacks on Kharkiv this morning. Currently, four casualties are known.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.

Currently, 500,000 subscribers in Kharkiv and partly in the region are without electricity. There is also a problem with heating and water supply in the city — about 520,000 subscribers are without these services. There is no heating in 2677 buildings.

«The enemy launched 12 rockets at the city, all of them targeted at our boiler houses, our power plants, and power facilities. Alongside the shelling of Kharkiv, the entire energy sector of the country came under attack,» said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

As a result of the strike on the heating facilities, a significant part of Kharkiv is without heating. Currently, four people have been affected.

The mayor added that all relevant municipal services will work to maintain heat and restart the heating system. Currently, all invincibility checkpoints in Kharkiv are open and equipped with everything necessary.

It should be reminded that on Christmas, December 25, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian cities with rockets and drones. Once again, the target of the Russian strikes was the energy sector.
