Russia attacks Kyiv: a person is killed, a child is among the wounded

On the night of 12 February, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kyiv. The attack killed one person and injured four others, including a 9-year-old girl.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service, KCMA and Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko.
Obolonskyi district — debris hit two office buildings, one of which caught fire from the 7th to the 1st floor. A person died in the fire.
Holosiivskyi district — a fire in a 600 m² warehouse.
Sviatoshynskyi district — a fire on the roof of a nine-storey building, no casualties were reported.
Solomianskyi district — a fire on the roof of an apartment building.
Darnytskyi district — a fire on the territory of a private enterprise.
More than 80 rescuers and 17 pieces of equipment are working at the scene.
At 8 a.m., the State Emergency Service reported that the aftermath of the morning's massive Russian missile attack was being dealt with in Kyiv region.
«Rescuers continue to extinguish a fire in non-residential premises in one of the districts of the region... 138 rescuers and 45 pieces of equipment are working at the scene», the SES said.
On the night of 12 February, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down two Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones over Mykolaiv region. As a result of the fall of the wreckage, one of the infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv district caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the blast wave damaged warehouses.
