The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a map of the fighting, which shows that Sudzha in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation is no longer under the control of Ukrainian troops.

This is evident in the General Staff's reports on the situation at the front, published on 15-16 March. Also, the day before, the Deep State analytical project wrote about the capture of Sudzha.

Back on 13 March, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that Russian troops had taken control of Sudzha, as well as Milovyi and Podil in the Kursk region. At the same time, propaganda media disseminated a video from the Russian Ministry of Defence allegedly from Suzha after its capture.

However, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not officially confirm this information.

Today, on 16 March, it reported that 19 clashes took place in Kursk region over the past day, with Russians conducting 34 air strikes, dropping 63 guided bombs, and firing 243 artillery rounds, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

As a reminder, on 14 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Kursk operation had fulfilled its task of pulling Russian troops back from the Pokrovske, Kharkiv and Sumy directions.
