Russian propagandists are spreading fake information about the Ukrainian military allegedly preparing a provocation in Mykolaiv.

According to the Disinformation Counteraction Centre, the purpose of such actions is to disrupt agreements to stop strikes on energy infrastructure.

The propagandists claim that special groups are allegedly operating in the city, preparing an operation, and bringing in a significant amount of wreckage from Russian drones «Shahed» and explosives.

«Such reports may indicate that Russia is preparing a provocation and strikes on the city. In this way, the enemy seeks to shift the responsibility for Ukraine's failure to comply with its ceasefire obligations on energy infrastructure onto Ukraine and mislead Ukraine's international partners», the statement said.

As a reminder, at the talks in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the Russian delegation said it would not discuss ending attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine.
