Due to icy conditions in the Mykolaiv region, dozens of communities were left without power

Due to deteriorating weather conditions, numerous emergency power outages have been reported in Mykolaiv region. Dozens of settlements and tens of thousands of consumers in most communities in the region are currently without power.

It is noted that despite the difficult weather conditions, energy workers are working in an enhanced mode. Additional crews have also been brought in to deal with the aftermath of the bad weather.

Mykolaivoblenergo assures that restoration work is ongoing and that power will be restored to consumers as accidents are eliminated.

«We are doing everything we can to get you back to normal as soon as possible,» the power company wrote.

Scheduled power cuts in the region are currently not in effect due to emergency repairs. At the same time, Kim added that the Regional State Administration is convening an emergency headquarters, presumably to respond to the situation and eliminate its consequences.

Earlier, it was reported that the amount of electricity in the network in the Mykolaiv region may increase in the near future thanks to cogeneration.
