The Russian army attacked Ukraine with air and ground-based missiles. On the night of July 8, air defense shot down three X-101 missiles.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleschuk.

The rockets were destroyed in the Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.

In total, the Russians launched four X-101 missiles from the Tu-95MS strategic aircraft from the airspace of the Saratov region. The enemy also attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region and Crimea.

It should be noted that after midnight on July 8, the Air Force reported that Russian Tu-95 aircraft were heading to the launch lines.

It will be recalled that Mykolaiv RMA reported the details of shelling on July 7 in the Kutsurub community. During the day, the Russians attacked with FPV kamikaze drones.
