On the night of February 25, air defense forces shot down 9 out of 14 attack drones with which the Russian invaders tried to attack Ukraine.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is noted that the Russians released:

  • Iskander-M ballistic missile (from Crimea);
  • two S-300 air defense systems (from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation);
  • three Kh-59 guided air missiles;
  • anti-radar Kh-31P (from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region);
  • 14 attack drones of the Shahed type (from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation).

As a result of combat work, the air defense forces managed to destroy 3 Kh-59 guided air missiles and 9 Shaheds within the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

We will remind that on this night the Russian occupiers attacked two communities of the Mykolaiv region — Ochakiv and Stepove.
