On Sunday morning, March 3, the body of another victim of the Russian attack on March 2 was discovered under the rubble of a high-rise building in Odesa.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service.

«At the site of the Russian attack on the high-rise building, the body of the ninth dead person was found under the rubble,» the message reads.

Odesa RMA clarified that the body of a baby was found near her - the child was not even a year old.

The search operation continues at the scene of the tragedy.

Attack on Odesa on March 2

In Odesa, during a night attack on Saturday, March 2, a Russian drone hit a nine-story building, destroying one of the entrances.

Initially, it was reported that two people died, but later the bodies of three more people, including a three-year-old boy, were recovered from the rubble. Subsequently, the number of victims as of 18:00 was 7 people, including two children. One child was 3 months old.

The city and region announced mourning for those who died as a result of the Russian attack on the night of March 2.
